Earlier this week, I posted this article to our Facebook page. It’s by Rachael Denhollander, the first woman to file a police complaint against Larry Nassar in the summer of 2016. Since then, over 150 young women have come forward to report sexual assault by his hands.

In many ways, these past several weeks have felt like a tipping point for our society where victims can feel free to disclose their abuse, but this really isn’t the case.

In our last post of 2017, we focused on our Holiday Giving program, which provides gifts for CARE House families in need.

The individuals and organizations who donate those gifts aren’t able to contact their selected families, but the families can (and do!) send thank you notes to express their gratitude.

With the end of the year nearly upon us, our annual Holiday Wishes program is starting to kick into high gear. We thought it might be handy to have an all-encompassing guide to the program in an easily accessible place, so read on for everything you might possibly want to know about Holiday Wishes, including how you can help!

Personalized gifts from 2016

Every family who receives CARE House services is eligible for our Holiday Wishes program.
