The 21st Annual Circle of Friends Luncheon took place last Thursday, January 2, at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. The luncheon focused on children in foster care, the struggles they face,

and what we can do to help them. It featured remarks from the event honoree, retiring Oakland County Family Court Judge Joan E. Young; event chair and foster parent Tamara Rambus; and memoirist and foster care parent and advocate, Ashley Rhodes-Courter.

There was an additional event Preview Party which took place at the Tiffany & Co. within the Somerset Collection in Troy.

We’re so thankful to everyone who was able to make it to either of the Circle of Friends-related events. Your support helps to provide consistency and guidance for children in foster care throughout Oakland County and the state of Michigan.

We’re also thankful to the following publications for covering the event:

We hope to see you at next year’s Luncheon on January 25th!
